Purpose and Goals of Advancement

 

The purpose of RCHF's  Advancement strategies is to promote and develop the public impact of the Foundation amongst all of its various constituencies in order to maximize the broadest scope of resources towards the fulfillment of its goals.

The overall responsibility of Advancement is to develop and implement a context-driven, interactive and integrated public relations and marketing strategic plan consistent with RCHF's mission and values in order to ensure institutional growth through enhanced visibility, increased partnership capacity and cohesive maximization of internal as well as external resources. 

Advancement operates from a comprehensive understanding of institutional success that includes RCHF's successful fulfillment of its health mandate, the growth of its various constituencies, and the leveraging of resources through partnerships.  To those ends, Advancement seeks:

• To maintain and enhance the public image and impact of the Foundation as a lead-agency with regards to health issues for the underserved and the uninsured.

• To be forward thinking and anticipate change to ensure pro-active adjustment securing institutional success. 

• To shift the Advancement focus from being "event-driven" to "constituency-driven" in order to maximize public impact and support.

• To cultivate RCHF's donor constituencies, through adequate database development, so as to maximize the Foundation's mission as well as community buy-in. 

• To enhance RCHF's visibility by increasing its exposure through printed material, website, internet, speaking appointments, and all venues deemed valuable in light of available resources.

• To establish the Advancement Committee as an internal institutional support for RCHF's Executive Exchange, Women's Wealth of Wellness, Golf, Gala, Classic Holiday Dinner, as well as its Planned Giving efforts.
