Inland Empire Coalition for Health
The Inland Empire Coalition for Health (formerly known as the Health Executive Exchange/HEXEX) was launched as a Riverside Community Health Foundation initiative for the development of an interdisciplinary partnership amongst key health and community stakeholders in Riverside. The coalition is established with the representatives from the health care, philanthropic, public policy and provider organizations in the county as well as educational institutions, businesses, public sector agencies and other interested parties.
All members of the Inland Empire Coalition for Health play an important advocacy role with key stakeholders including elected and appointed officials, business representatives, as well as civic, education, and community leaders and the general public. The role of this coalition is to help identify specific health concerns that could be addressed or mitigated through changes in policy, and when possible, to identify other advocacy groups to align with in order to leverage resources and make greater impact.

Vision Statement
We envision an Inland Empire community where all residents are healthy, safe and thriving.
Guiding Principles and Values
- We believe in the power of collaboration.
- All Inland Empire residents, regardless of their socioeconomic status, ethnicity or race, have the right to achieve good health.
- We believe that providers of services, information and care, the educational and business communities, public agencies and residents must play an important role in ensuring environments that support a healthy lifestyle. Together they form a partnership that is stronger than any one agency, organization or person.
- By working in unison, we can address barriers to achieve equitable health status.
The Inland Empire Coalition for Health meets six (6) times a year to foster on-going conversation and advocacy amongst a select number of key stakeholders so as to enhance current health partnerships and create new ones, thus increasing the Inland Empire’s overall appeal with regards to quality of life. The Coalition selects health issues that we can work on together and stand together on issues impacting our region, making a difference for many.
